Steven Crowder
Best known for his “Louder with Crowder” webisode series, comedian Steven Crowder is spreading the message of conservatism to young people, one YouTube video at a time.
Crowder, who has nearly 51,000 subscribers to his YouTube channel, says that liberals “realize that he who controls the culture, controls the country,” which is why he uses humorous videos to communicate his conservative message.
Though he is a Fox News contributor and the creator of a series of political entertainment videos, Crowder insists he is “not really a political guy.” American culture “is vastly more important and influential than policy,” Crowder argues, and, “conservatives have completely conceded that territory.”
To resist and reverse the Left’s domination of American culture, Crowder encourages young conservatives to flourish in their natural non-political interests while engaging in outreach to bring young people into the conservative fold.
“You don’t need to turn your whole life into focusing on political activism. You aren’t changing anybody’s hearts and minds,” he says.
Ultimately, Crowder’s advice to young conservatives is not “be a little Tucker Carlson look-a-like, a college Republican who’s planning a congressional run and bumping elbows with a Senator’s daughter.” Your authentic personality will do more to help the movement, Crowder says.
