Cabot Phillips worked as the Digital Grassroots Director on Marco Rubio’s presidential campaign, overseeing the majority of Senator Rubio’s official Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram pages, as well as organizing numerous state and national coalitions on behalf of the campaign. Cabot currently works as the Director of Campus Outreach for The Leadership Institute and as a contributor to CampusReform.org, appearing regularly Fox News, Newsmax, and One America News Network.

Cabot is a YouTube publishing partner, creating and starring in videos that have amassed 100 million views on a variety of platforms. His recent “Brothers Convince Little Sister of Zombie Apocalypse” video landed him and his siblings an interview on The Ellen Show and also was featured on Good Morning America, The Today Show, ABC Nightline, and dozens more national and local outlets.

His “man on the street” videos have also been viewed by millions and have been featured on The O’Reilly Factor, The Drudge Report, The Five, The Rush Limbaugh Show, and numerous other national publications. He attended Liberty University, and at Liberty, Cabot hosted a primetime FM radio show on 90.9 WQLU and served as a Correspondent for Campus Reform, appearing regularly on Fox News and One America News.

What was the biggest factor in your success?

I’d be foolish to think I got to this point alone. God has blessed me with incredible mentors at every level, and more importantly, a loving and supportive family. I wouldn’t be here without their guidance and patience.

What advice would you give to other millennials?

Seek out established leaders in the movement who are willing to share their wisdom with you. Spend time with people who will challenge you and hold you accountable. Read.

Does the GOP have a future and why?

The GOP has a future as long as it elects leaders who will fight for limited government and personal liberty. If we abandon those principles, we abandon the very things that make us conservative.
