Why is it important that at this particular point in time, right-of-center youth become involved publicly, whether in politics, media, their communities, or in other capacities?

Economic, national security and many other issues today will have a lasting impact for generations to come, and will have the greatest impact on our nation’s youth. In a generation where younger Americans tend to lean left, it is ever more important for right-of-center youth to become involved and engage our generation. The world is rapidly changing, and we need to be involved in shaping change.

What must elected officials and others in positions of leadership do to make a right-of-center message resonate with the Millennial generation?

Leaders need to deliver the right-of-center message through easily digestible, entertaining, and shareable content, tailored to the the ways people communicate today. Too often, compelling messages aren’t given the tweet-able, digital-friendly platforms necessary to communicate with younger Americans. Something with many Facebook shares will have a lot better chance of being read and resonating than a press release sent directly to a spam folder.

Where would you like to see the conservative movement in 10 years — and how can it get there?

From political opposition research to online media sites, I’d like to see a conservative movement meet and surpass our counterparts in building the necessary infrastructure to compete in what should be a fast-changing media and political environment. In everything from dedicated media tracking to policy development organizations, we need the specialized investments it will take to win.
