Why is it important that at this particular point in time, right-of-center youth become involved publicly, whether in politics, media, their communities, or in other capacities?

This is the most libertarian generation that has ever existed. Our generation is naturally inclined towards liberty and individual empowerment as we have grown up both socially tolerant and fiscally responsible. The world is not as free as it could or should be and it will take a great deal of work to change things, but young people today have a greater opportunity to change things than ever before. Our generation has the chance to create a freer future.

What must elected officials and others in positions of leadership do to make a right-of-center message resonate with the Millennial generation?

The Millennial generation is the libertarian generation. Leaders in this generation must educate our peers that there is a philosophy that encompasses their support for social tolerance, fiscal responsibility, and individual empowerment. Elected officials and others must either accept these principles or accept the loss of their leadership as Millennials gain greater influence in society.
