Members of the EU Parliament come to CPAC

European Members of Parliament Derk jan Eppink (MEP Belgium) and Geoffrey van Orden (MEP England) visited CPAC in Washington Friday morning, discussing the European think tank The New Direction, the Foundation for European Reform, and taxes in the European Union. “The EU is all about destroying our nations,” said MEP van Orden, as he mentioned the EU, claiming that their only interest is to take power and redistribute it to the powerful politicians in the unified European government.

Mack argues for Balanced Budget Amendment

It’s been more than three years, or 1,000 days, since President Obama’s inauguration, and the President and the Democrat led Senate are yet to make passing a budget a priority.

Col. Douglas MacGregor: Mexico is the most pressing threat

“China is not a major threat to the United States,” said U.S. Army Col. Douglas MacGregor (Ret.) in a message at CPAC in Washington this morning. Arguing the military budget is misallocated and spending is out-of control, the retired military official says “it is not in the best interest of the United States to impose our culture on others,” bringing forth a plan to reduce spending and increase prosperity. “If you don’t look at the structure – how we’re organized…you change nothing.”
