Jones has played the star role of Jake Harper, son of the character Alan, played by Jon Cryer, on the show for nine years.

Fraternity gets called out for racist-looking Halloween decorations

The Theta Delta Chi chapter at the University of California-Berkeley recently caused a stir when the fraternity decorated its haunted house with a hanging zombie that too closely resembled a lynching, reports The Daily Californian.

The zombie prop dangled from a window of the fraternity house’s third story. Its head was supposedly a dark grey color, but based on the picture, it’s easy to see how a passerby could have mistaken the intent of of decoration.

Urban Outfitters releases anti-Romney t-shirts

We knew the fashion industry was no fan of Ann Romney, and now we can be sure it hates Mitt Romney even more. As The Inquisitr reports, young adult clothing retailer Urban Outfitters has recently released a myriad of anti-Mitt Romney t-shirts for sale on their website. The t-shirts are certainly not subtle, either. One shirt features the phrase,… Read Article ›

Fashion industry blacklists Ann Romney

The women of the GOP have always faced a tougher battle in the media, fighting to get equal air time and facing a liberal and unforgiving press. But a recent feature on CBS’ “Inside Edition exposes how even in the world of fashion, high-profile women like Ann Romney are routinely snubbed by fashion experts and coveted designers who, not surprisingly, lean left.

Ashley Lutz, a reporter for businessinsider.com explained to “Inside Edition” that the fashion industry does ”tend to lean left. The vast majority of campaign contributions from the fashion industry went to President Obama.” She continued, “Ann Romney sort of faces an uphill battle in being recognized by anyone in the fashion industry.”

The article points out that Michelle Obama has always been praised for her fashion choices, even when her outfits are unmemorable or recycled from other events. For example, the grey and black lace dress she donned at the final presidential debate on Monday night got plenty of attention, yet she wore the same piece at the Democratic National Convention last month.

Comedy Central favors Obama’s humor, chides Romney in young voters video

According to a new video released by Comedy Central, the key to either candidate winning the election is to secure the youth vote, and how best can Romney and Obama attract young voters? With humor, of course.

Though the narrator of the video addresses both Romney and Obama, he favors Obama’s jokes and seems to highlight only Romney’s blunders. For example, the narrator tells the candidates to display a “genuine sense of humor” after which the video displays a clip of Obama making a silly “spilled milk” joke, but then plays a clip of Romney making a pretty bad unemployment joke.

Glenn Bleck releases his own Made in America Clothing Line

Over the weekend, Glenn Beck released his own American made jeans line called 1791 Denim. After discovering last year that many popular denim brands actually manufacture their jeans overseas, Beck decided to develop his own line of jeans and other clothing that are completely made in America.

The problem with 1791 jeans? While Americans may want to buy American made jeans, they may not be able to afford them. Each pair of 1791 jeans will set an American consumer back $129.99. But the profits will go entirely to a humanitarian effort dedicated to helping struggling Americans.

Philadelphia Teacher bullies student for wearing Romney t-shirt

A teacher in a Philadelphia high school allegedly tried to force one of her students to take off a Romney campaign t-shirt, according to All American Blogger Dwayne Bodhi. The teacher reportedly compared the t-shirt to a Klu Klux Klan sheet and tried to dismiss the 16-year-old student out of class when she refused to remove the t-shirt.

The Charles Carroll High School teacher explained to the student that the school was a “Democratic school.” She even told the young student that she would cross out Romney’s name on the t-shirt with a marker.
