Democratic Disappointment in Obama Continues to Grow

The chorus of Democrat voices disgruntled with President Obama is growing. And the last thing the president needs during his reelection campaign is mounting criticism from members of his own team.

MSNBC contributor and former Pennsylvania Governor Ed Rendell became one of the disillusioned Democrats in April when he criticized  Obama’s attacks on Mitt Romney’s work at Bain Capital.

In an interview with the Washington Free Beacon yesterday Rendell, who is known for his bluntness, defended his previous complaints, adding that unless politicians start telling the truth more often, voters will stop seeing them as reliable sources.

Obama’s Talk on Student Loans Misses the Point of Economic Growth

Yesterday President Obama spoke to a group of students in the White House, urging them to tell Congress to pass an law preventing student loan interest rates from doubling on July 1 from 3.4 percent to 6.8 percent on federally subsidized student loans.

It’s ironic that Obama felt the need to hold a press conference yesterday to blame Congress for failing to step up to the plate on student loan interest rate cuts. The President himself hasn’t been a model leader on this issue. If he had cared enough to take an interest before now,  he might have learned a thing or two about why easy access to and low interest rates on student loans are bankrupting America and its youth.

In New Campaign Ad, Obama Panders To Women On Non-Existent Pay-Inequality Issue

President Obama released a new campaign ad in Virginia today pandering to female voters by trying to promote the president’s record on women’s rights. Too bad when it comes to male/female pay discrepancies, Obama is pushing a non-issue. Over still shots of Obama flanked by his wife and daughters and shots of American women on… Read Article ›

Non-Profit, Non-Partisan “Rock The Vote” Uses Celebrities To Push Liberal Message

Rock the Vote, which champions itself as the premier youth-voter advocacy group, has kicked off its participation in the 2012 presidential election and despite it’s non-partisan status, the organization is campaigning on behalf of progressives this fall.

A recent “history of voting” video features Obama-supporting liberal celebrities celebrating and crediting the youth vote for putting Obama into office.

American Crossroads’ Obama Video Contradicts DNC On “Blame Bush” Economic Message

It appears the White House and the Democratic National Committee can’t agree on the effect of Bush’s tax cuts for the middle class, and this will prove to be an even bigger problem as November is only five months away.

Today, American Crossroads released a video of President Obama, emphasizing the president’s “blame Bush” mantra and his insistence that the Bush-era tax cuts are responsible for America’s economic stumbling. But that’s a far cry from what a DNC spokesman said about them just three days ago.

Wisconsin Polls Favor Romney, Job Numbers Should Recall Obama

In the wake of Wisconsin Republican Governor Scott Walker’s recall election victory, new polls show Mitt Romney leading President Obama for the first time, and President Obama’s support at its lowest level to date.

Rasmussen poll reports that statewide telephone survey records show likely Wisconsin voters supporting Romney over Obama 47 percent to 44 percent. Last month, Obama led Romney 49 percent to 45 percent and in March, the president led by 11 points, 52 percent to 41 percent.

Chris Christie’s popularity on the rise in the Garden State
