Department of Homeland Security Prepared For Large Scale Protests At RNC, DNC Conventions

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) appears to be taking no chances when it comes to protecting the upcoming high-profile Democratic and Republican National Conventions from radical protest groups like resistRNC.

As Russia Today reports, the DHS has purchased nearly 150 sets of riot gear to properly equip the Federal Protective Service agents that are tasked with ensuring the safety and well-being of attendees at the convention, as well as the buildings and grounds themselves.

Ever since the rise of the violent Occupy Wall Street movement last fall, a number of protest groups have attempted to interrupt recent political gatherings, including the 2012 Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC).

Environmentalists On Dissatisfaction With President Obama: ‘We All Believed A Little More Than We Should Have”

These days, the illusion of “Hope and Change” for President Obama’s grassroots support seems to finally be fading, as even those on the progressive left are expressing their disappointment with his first term in office.

During an environmentalism panel at Campus Progress, a conference gathering for progressive college students, multiple environmentalism advocates admitted a degree of dissatisfaction with Barack Obama’s first term in office, noting that the direction of the country hasn’t much changed in the past three years.

Obama Campaign Attempts More Damage Control With Second Small Business Ad

Barack Obama’s arrogant jab to small business owners appears to have forced his campaign into major damage control mode as yesterday, the Obama campaign released their secondTV ad that attempted to “clarify” the President’s initial statement about small business owners not actually receiving full credit for their success.

The first ad, “Tampered,” employed a solemn tone of disapproval and did not actually feature President Obama trying to clarify his comments. Meanwhile, the new ad, “Always,” is much different in terms of presentation, and apparent sincerity, with the president seated in a dining room, talking directly to the American people.

Obama Campaign’s New Ad Features Damage Control For Last Week’s Small Business Gaffe

In response to President Obama’s arrogant comments about American’s lacking the ability to build their own business without assistance, Mitt Romney released an ad that featured a small business owner condemning the President’s remarks. But in a tit-for-tat move, the Obama reelection team released an ad in response to Romney’s small business attack ad.

Unable to defend the outrageous comments made by their boss, the Obama campaign is resorting to their favored tactic of smearing an individual, in order to make that person’s ad appear less effective. Their new ad, cleverly titled “Tampered,” attempts to say that Mitt Romney’s new ad is misleading, and that his campaign has released misleading ads before.

“Occupy RNC” Removes Violent References, Hate Speech After Red Alert Article

Occupy the RNC, aka resistRNC, appears to have removed some of the exceptionally violent material from its website in response to the Red Alert Politics (RAP) investigation into the violent nature of content on the group’s site. The site is now blaming a handful of “hypof**kincrites,” including Red Alert Politics for the heightened scrutiny of its potentially violent behavior.

TIME’s Joe Klein: “Maybe It Should Cost You $1,000 A Bullet If You Want To Buy Ammunition”

Although many will agree that increased gun control is not the proper response to the tragedy that occurred early Friday morning in Aurora, Colorado, the partisan journalist Joe Klein proposed just that during a panel appearance on ABC’s This Week.

Echoing an opinion of the late New York Senator Daniel Patrick Moynihan (D- NY), Klein pushed the idea of heavily taxing bullets.

Allen West: “‘Hope and Change’ Is Starting To Become ‘Divide And Conquer’”

During his speech at the 2012 Eagle Forum Collegians Summit, Allen West highlighted several reasons, including unemployment, why the American youth should be discontented with the actions taken by President Obama.

“The whole mantra of ‘Hope and Change’ is starting to become ‘Divide and Conquer,” said Congressman West. “A lot of the young people (that voted for Obama) back in 2008 who are sitting in their mommy’s and daddy’s basement because they don’t have a job, they feel that the American dream is slipping away.”

Rep. Michele Bachmann: “All Of Our Chips Are On November”

During her address at the 2012 Eagle Forum Collegians Summit yesterday, Congresswoman Michele Bachmann, (R-MN) warned students of the importance of the upcoming 2012 elections, especially if Obamacare is to be repealed.

“All of our chips are on November,” said Congresswoman Bachmann. “That is more true now than ever.”

The Congresswoman from Minnesota emotionally recalled the infamous day three weeks ago on which the individual mandate in President Obama’s healthcare plan was upheld by the Supreme Court.
