Without Guns, Women Are Told to Urinate on Attempted Rapists

gun ban

There are ways for women to reduce the risk of being raped, and most women have heard them. Everything from screaming, rape whistles, pepper spray and guns can be used for protection against potential predators. At the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs, however, they have some other ideas.

On their website, the University has updated their guidelines on “What to do if you are attacked.” These guidelines now include, “Tell your attacker that you have a disease or are menstruating,” and “Vomiting or urinating may also convince the attacker to leave you alone.”

FTR Radio and Smart Girl Politics team up for Sandy Relief

In the wake of Hurricane Sandy, many in the Northeast are still in need of assistance. To help, FTR Radio and Smart Girl Politics have teamed up to host a four-hour radiothon, Operation Helping Hand tonight.

Hosted by Fingers Malloy and Thomas LaDuke of FTR Show “The Snark Factor,” Operation Helping Hand may be heard on FTR Radio from 7-11pm EST.

Mitt Romney Continues Tradition of Charity with Hurricane Sandy Relief, Despite Media Claims of Campaign Stunt

Mitt Romney donated his inheritance to Brigham Young University to help disadvantaged students pursue higher education in public management and government.  He donated his entire salary with the Olympics to charity as well as giving the Olympics $1 million of his own money. During his entire term as governor of Massachusetts, he refused to take a salary. The Romneys give millions per year to their church and other organizations. Now, he is helping bring aid to victims of Hurricane Sandy, and the media expects us to believe this is a campaign stunt.

The Romney campaign has been collecting supplies in Virginia, North Carolina, and New Hampshire, and Governor Romney deployed his campaign bus to deliver supplies to those affected by the hurricane. “Governor Romney’s concern is the safety and well-being of those in the path of Hurricane Sandy,” Romney campaign spokeswoman Andrea Saul said Monday morning.

However, there are those who don’t want to believe Romney is simply helping those in need.

It turns out Obama supporters hate his policies

It turns out that Obama supporters hate his policies. Nonpartisan group We are Change took to the streets to interview Obama supporters regarding his policies. However, they listed four of Obama’s actual policies as being policies proposed by Romney for his own presidency. It turns out that these Obama supporters are vehemently against his policies when they think they belong to Romney.

James O’Keefe Video Shows Obama Reelection Campaign Caught Assisting With Voter Fraud

President Obama’s official reelection campaign, Obama for America has been exposed actively assisting voters in committing voter fraud. In video released by Project Veritas, Regional Field Director of Houston, Texas’ OFA office Stephanie Caballero is seen and heard giving an undercover reporter advice on how to vote for Obama in two different states.

The undercover reporter indicated to Caballero that not only was she eligible to cast a ballot in the state of Texas, but that she had obtained a voter registration card for the battleground state of Florida. Caballero then offered to print the forms necessary for the reporter to cast her Texas mail-in ballot for President Obama.

James O’Keefe, founder of Project Veritas said “These individuals showed no concern whatsoever when our investigators declared their intention to vote multiple times for President Obama. In fact, they were happy to help, even going so far as to provide the forms necessary to commit the fraud and offering advice on how to avoid getting caught.”

Obama campaign removes “vote like your lady parts depend on it” Tumblr post after conservative backlash

I’ve long suspected the Obama campaign sees women as nothing more than lady parts with a ballot, but today it was confirmed when the official campaign Tumblr told women to “Vote like your lady parts depend on it.” Both women and men were, understandably, outraged at the campaign reducing women to nothing more than the sum of their reproductive organs.

The Obama campaign immediately received a backlash from the right-wing via social media. So many things wrong with the statement that it’s hard to know where to begin.Women said that the statement was misogynistic, and they plan on voting with their brains. Women also pointed out that abortions aren’t really in their gender’s best interest, especially when those abortions are sex-selective.

Obama Sells Posters Desecrating American Flag by Replacing Stars with Obama Logo

President Barack Obama took the Cult of Obama and narcissism to perhaps an unprecedented level on Wednesday when his campaign began selling posters that desecrated the image of the American flag by replacing the stars on the flag with the “O” symbol that serves as the Obama campaign’s logo.

A Reflection Upon The Importance of Constitution Day

Yesterday, the Constitution celebrated its 225th birthday. On September 17, 1787, The Constitutional Convention signed the Constitution. The holiday was made official in 2004, and the Department of Education has mandated that there be educational programming about the Constitution on this day every year. To many, it’s just another day, or another silly holiday on the schedule. Many Americans don’t understand what the Constitution does for us on a daily basis, and why we should take a day to recognize that.

The National Archives states that “The Constitution stands as a model of cooperative statesmanship and the art of compromise.” It is culmination of men from differing backgrounds and dreams putting everything on the line for one common goal: liberty. The Constitution is what still protects our liberty today. In the past 225 years, the Constitution has only been amended 27 times, proving that it is a timeless guide for our country.

Alinsky Rule 8: Keep the Pressure On (It’s like Deja-Vu)

Rule 11: The major premise for tactics is the development of operations that will maintain a constant pressure upon the opposition.

Alinsky goes on to say that “It is this unceasing pressure that results in the reactions from the opposition that are essential for the success of the campaign. It should be remembered not only that the action is in the reaction but that action is itself the consequence of reaction and of reaction to the reaction, ad infinitum. The pressure produces the reaction, and constant pressure sustains action.”

Rules for Radicals 10: Turning A Negative Into A Positive

Rule 10: “If you push a negative hard enough, it will push through and become a positive.”

Alinsky’s tenth rule is based on the idea that any negative can be used to one’s advantage. The Left has used these tactics in many ways over the years. As we on the right have become more aware of these tactics, and they are becoming increasingly desperate in trying to deploy them.

Left-wing organizers have protestors work in three groups (green, yellow, and red) for the specific purpose of inciting the police in a way which left the protestors looking innocent. In a recent interview, Brandon Darby described how this was used at the Republican National Convention in 2008. He said that they chose the yellow group as the group which would get arrested, so their job would be to chain themselves together in PVC pipe (so that the police couldn’t easily remove the chains), then barricade major roadways to prevent delegates from getting to the convention center. However, the yellow team needed time to get into place. This is where the green team came in.

Reid’s Glass House

Good news for Senator Harry Reid: If he’s a little bored while waiting for Mitt Romney to release his tax returns, there are plenty of other elected officials — in his own party, to boot! — who merit the same eyebrow-raising he’s directed at the presumptive GOP presidential nominee. The Senate majority leader has expressed consternation about the fact that Romney has some money in offshore accounts, which probably reduces his tax burden. According to the Huffington Post, Reid quipped, “Most Americans don’t have the benefit of Swiss bank accounts or tax shelters in the Cayman Islands and Bermuda.” And Gawker just published more than 950 pages of Bain documents related to Romney’s offshore holdings, saying they detail his use of “exotic tax-avoidance schemes available only to the preposterously wealthy.”

Some of the “preposterously wealthy” Americans who do use such “schemes” include Senators Dianne Feinstein (D., Calif.), Richard Blumenthal (D., Conn.), Frank Lautenberg (D., N.J.), and John Kerry (D., Mass.). That should be music to Reid’s ears, since his transparency crusade might be a little easier to pull off within his own party.

Rules for Radicals 9: The Power is in the Threat

Rule 9: The threat is more terrifying than the thing itself.

The ninth rule in Saul Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals deals with fear. Alinsky wanted his followers to threaten action, hoping that the threat itself would incite a reaction. This is the easiest way for radicals to win: to have those on the Right react defensively while the Left doesn’t actually have to do anything but threaten action. No actual action required!

Sometimes, these are threats of violence. For example, Michelle Williams, Chief of Staff for the New Black Panther Party threatened the 2012 RNC National Convention in Tampa, FL next week saying “Our feet will be on your motherf***ing necks.” Domestic terrorist groups are also threatening violence violence at the event. Law enforcement is preparing for any eventuality, but the Left is not getting the reaction of fear from the Right for which they likely hoped.

Rules for Radicals 8: Keep the Pressure on

Rule 8: Keep the pressure on. Use different tactics and actions and use all events of the period for your purpose. “The major premise for tactics is the development of operations that will maintain a constant pressure upon the opposition. It is this that will cause the opposition to react to your advantage.”

Alinsky’s eighth rule in Rules for Radicals, is made possible by a ruthless, steady stream of the other ten rules. Different tactics not only keep those employing them from getting bored (see rule 7), but they keep those on the receiving end busy deflecting attacks. By keeping those on the Right occupied, the leftists utilizing these tactics are able to achieve victory in other battles with minimal resistance.

PA judge rules voter ID law not too restrictive, then defeated plaintiff proves it

Last week, opponents of voter ID laws — the easiest and most common-sense method to safeguard against identity theft at the ballot box — received a one-two punch in Pennsylvania that should put their crusade against the security measure down for the count.

On August 15, a Pennsylvania judge upheld the Commonwealth’s new law requiring one of a plethora of forms of identification — including a driver’s license, accredited school ID, government employee badge and a new voter-specific ID, among others — be used at a polling place to certify a voter is who they say they are.

The next day, the lead plaintiff in the lawsuit got the ID she needed to vote despite the alleged hurdles her ACLU lawyers said stood in her way.

Rules for Radicals 7: Don’t let them get Bored!

Rule 7: A tactic that drags on for too long becomes a drag. Commitment may become ritualistic as people turn to other issues.

Alinsky’s seventh rule in his manifesto Rules for Radicals is one that we have seen played out over and over again throughout history and it’s no surprise that the Left has a pretty short attention span.

Remember when the tolerant Left was going to boycott Whole Foods? In 2009, Whole Foods CEO John Mackey spoke out against Obamacare saying instead that he favored individual choices in healthcare in a Wall Street Journal OpEd titled “The Whole Foods Alternative to Obamacare.”

Rules For Radicals: Rule Six – Enjoy Marxist Tactics!

Rule 6: A good tactic is one your people enjoy. “If your people aren’t having a ball doing it, there is something very wrong with the tactic.”

Saul Alinsky’s Rule 6 in his infamous manifesto Rules for Radicals was beautifully employed by the destructive and carefree Occupy Movement that graced this nation with its “anything goes” movement.

Late in 2011, the Occupy movement was born. They claimed to stand for some standard Left-wing values but, it would seem, many wouldn’t be so ready to occupy if it weren’t fun. Maybe they wouldn’t have stuck around for as long as they did if so many celebrities didn’t stop by to tell them how cool they were. Occupy turned out to be something more akin to a festival than a serious political movement. There was sexthere were drugs, and there was rock & roll. Apparently, nobody had to go to work in the morning (or for many mornings to come).

Chick-fil-A not alone in touting religion alongside products

Chick-fil-A president Dan Cathy is not the only business tycoon who refuses to hide his faith under a bushel — top executives from some of America’s biggest companies are born-again Christians who talk about their beliefs more often than their balance sheets.
Major corporations like Tyson Foods, Interstate Batteries and Hobby Lobby were either founded or are now led by outspoken and deeply religious bosses. While some of the companies distinguish between their corporate identities and their leaders’ faith, others embrace it.

Rules For Radicals, Rule 5: “Ridicule Is Man’s Most Potent Weapon”

Saul Alinksy’s Rules for Radicals encourages the use of ridicule against one’s enemies. Rule five: Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon. It’s hard to counterattack ridicule, and it infuriates the opposition, which then reacts to your advantage.

Alinksy’s fifth rule is a favorite tactic employed among the Left – one hardly has to look at all to find evidence of it in use today. The Left is ready and willing to mock just about anything to tear it down. This was perhaps nowhere more instant and vicious than the attacks on Sarah Palin and her family.

Dan Rather: Obama has lost his ‘mojo’

Old news-hound Dan Rather is not impressed by the 2012 presidential campaign.

“The Presidential race is flat, relatively uninteresting, even boring,” Rather complained on his Facebook page.

“Neither of these candidates seems to really like or have a deep passion for campaigning,” he added, noting that Romney and Obama were nothing like Lyndon B. Johnson, Hubert Humphrey, Ronald Reagan or Bill Clinton. “I can’t remember a campaign when both major party candidates seemed to dislike campaigning as much as these two,” he continued.

University kills insurance plan for students over Obamacare provisions

A Lutheran University in Minnesota has announced they will cancel a voluntary insurance plan for students rather than comply with a recent Health and Human Services (HHS) mandate.

In a letter to the campus community, vice president of Gustavus Adolphus College cited an unspecified HHS mandate as the reason for cutting students from the service.
