A New York City plastic surgeon admits he is seeing a surgery trend he wasn’t expecting in light of the Trumps being in the White House.
Dr. Norman Rowe, a top surgeon in the upper east side of New York City, told the New York Post that patients are requesting makeovers to look like the president’s eldest daughter, Ivanka Trump. The surgeon said the amount of Ivanka requests he has recently received is giving Kylie Jenner a run for her money as the most sought-after celebrity look alike.
Rowe said the trend began during the 2016 Republican primaries and the demand has continued to increase in popularity. To achieve the ‘Ivanka look,’ Dr. Rowe says patients request larger cheeks and smaller noses.
There are two ways to accomplish the look. For $30,000 – $40,000, the patient can get temporary fillers and botox that will last three to six months. The ‘Permanent Ivanka’ look costs up to $50,000 and gives patients rhinoplasty surgery and cheek implants.
“Maybe they just like the look, but also that [Ivanka’s] a powerful woman, self-confident, part of the first family. Do they want to be her? Yes, deep down, maybe,” Rowe told the New York Post’s Page Six.
Rowe said that he’s received, on average, four requests for the ‘Ivanka’ procedure each month since last summer.
But Ivanka isn’t the only Trump that women are going under the knife for, a plastic surgeon in Houston, Texas offers a “Melania makeover” package. To achieve the first lady’s look, it will cost you at least $50,000. The procedure that lasts nearly eight hours includes liposuction, botox, a buttock lift, rhinoplasty, and an eyelid lift.
The Trump plastic surgery mania has ladies all over the country wanting to look like the women in the White House, so far there has been no request for the President’s look.
