Following his exit from the White House, former Chief Strategist and current Executive Chairman of Breitbart News Steve Bannon will visit the University of California – Berkeley during its scheduled “Free Speech Week.”

According to a press release, Bannon will attend the four-day speech event hosted by former Breitbart editor Milo Yiannopoulos. Not only is he scheduled to attend, but he will also be speaking on the final day of the event.

In his press release, Yiannopoulos said, “Berkeley Free Speech week is attracting speakers of the highest caliber. Uncle Steve [Bannon] was the force behind Trump’s election victory and much of his initial policymaking. Nothing could be better for leftists who oppose Trump so vehemently than a lesson in the logic behind Trump’s actions, direct from the architect of his policies.”

Bannon joined Donald Trump’s campaign in August 2016 and steered what appeared to be an inevitable double-digit defeat into a shocking upset over former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. He served as the White House Chief Strategist from the time that Trump was sworn into office in January until mid-August.

On Sunday in a CBS 60 Minutes interview with Charlie Rose, Bannon declared war on the GOP establishment, saying, “The Republican establishment is trying to nullify the 2016 election. That’s a brutal fact we have to face. They do not want Donald Trump’s populist, economic nationalist agenda to be implemented. It’s very obvious.”

“Free Speech Week” is scheduled for September 24th to the 27th. It will be the first time that Yiannopoulos will be visiting the campus since his speech was shut down by Antifa riots in February.
