CNN editor-at-large Chris Cillizza was furious with Donald Trump on Tuesday when the President stated that the media has been releasing fake news. Cillizza demanded that some specific cases of fake news and ended up getting owned by hundreds of conservatives.

“Fake News is at an all time high. Where is their apology to me for all of the incorrect stories?” Trump tweeted.

“Name a story that is ‘fake’ or ‘incorrect.’ You can’t just make a blanket assertion without ANY specifics,” Cillizza fired back.

Within the next few hours, Cillizza, CNN, and the overall mainstream media got owned by dozens of links to fake news stories they’ve released over the last year. Some of the most well-known cases include The New York Times story that Trump colluded with the Russians that James Comey called ‘fake,’ that Comey denied telling Trump he wasn’t under investigation, and Trump pulled the MLK bust from the White House.

In addition to those tweets, the DOJ prosecuting a woman for laughing, rape not being a pre-existing condition the House healthcare bill, and the Saudi’s donating $100 million to Ivanka’s charityThe Federalist released two articles of 29 major fake news stories pushed by the mainstream media since Trump was elected including transgender suicides spiking, resignations at the State Department, and the President threatening to invade Mexico.

So, yes, Cillizza, the mainstream media owes Trump an apology for constantly releasing fake news to smear his presidency.
