“Day of Absence”: Students try to remove all white people from campus [VIDEO]

Following the election of Donald Trump, liberals attempted to hold day-long protests to show just how important immigrants and women are to society by hosting days without them.

However, at Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington, liberal students attempted to fight back against white supremacy by forcing white people, including faculty and staff, off campus for a “Day of Absence.”

In an interview with Tucker Carlson on Friday, Evergreen State professor Bret Weinstein reacted to being called a “racist” for refusing to give in to the demands of these social justice warriors. In a video, he’s being shouted down for simply teaching his class on campus.

On March 15th, Weinstein, who admitted he didn’t vote for Hillary Clinton because he’s a “deeply progressive person,” wrote in an email in response to the upcoming “Day of Absence” demands that “On a college campus, one’s right to speak — or to be — should never be based on skin color.”

The radical students have since called for his resignation.

The “Day of Absence” didn’t always start that way. According to Evergreen State’s website, the “Day of Absence” began in the 1970s where “faculty and staff of color [spent] a work day away from campus as a grassroots collective action.” Eventually, students were invited to participate. In 1992, they created a “Day of Presence” to “reunite the college community and honor diversity and unity as a whole campus.”

What’s troubling is how an event that’s supposed to unite a left-leaning, progressive campus is dividing everyone based on the color of their skin. It’s the doubling down of identity politics that drives a wedge deeper into race relations in this country.

Evergreen State President George Bridges have attempted to meet the demands of these protesters and have been constantly heckled and shouted down.

The College Fix compiled some of the statements that stood out during the protest takeover, including:

“Whiteness is the most violent fuckin’ system to ever breathe!”

“I’m tired of white people talking about what black and brown people need.”

“FUCK YOU [President] GEORGE [Bridges], we don’t wanna listen to a GODDAMN thing you have to say! No, you shut the fuck up!”

We’ve seen college students act irrationally and violent like at UC-Berkeley, but this is on a whole other level in terms of liberal racism and intolerance run amok.
