The Trump administration has come under fire over their decision to keep the White House visitor logs private bringing up questions about transparency and keeping records of meetings with the President open to the public.
Late night host Jimmy Kimmel decided to test Trump supporters’ loyalty on whether they thought it was ethical for President Trump to meet with controversial figures at the White House. These people actually never met with Trump, but Kimmel never lets a troll opportunity go to waste on Tuesday night’s edition of Lie Witness News.
Kimmel’s man-on-the-street reporter interviewed Trump supporters to see whether they were bothered by Trump meeting with people like Bernie Madoff, Casey Anthony, Jared from Subway, John Wilkes Booth, and deceased Russian Dictator Joseph Stalin.
When asked about Trump making “Dr. Bill Cosby” the Czar of prescription drugs, one Trump supporter responded, “Well, he’s had a lot of controversial people he’s picked like [Dr. Ben] Carson. So, as long as they’re vetted properly… I think it’s perfectly fine, whoever the doctor is he picks.”
Trump supporters was also asked about Trump meeting with convicted serial killer Charles Manson to help bolster law enforcement. One man said that if you’re going to find anyone who can help with policing, you might as well use someone with “experience.”
