The people said “no” to the media when they tried to force Clinton down our throats. Nevertheless, they persisted.
The event, which is co-sponsored with Lifetime, will pay tribute to six women during its annual Power of Women: New York luncheon on April 21st. Other honorees include actresses Jessica Chastain, Blake Lively, and Audra McDonald, as well as media executive Shari Redstone and CBS anchor Gayle King.
According to Variety, “Clinton, vice chair of the Clinton Foundation, will be honored for her work with Alliance for a Healthier Generation, which empowers kids to develop lifelong healthy habits.”
The Clinton Foundation has been in the spotlight for the last couple of years for all the wrong reasons. Before the 2016 election, the Clinton Foundation was largely known for its charitable works. However, since Hillary Clinton announced her candidacy for president, the Foundation has become almost synonymous with corruption, especially after Wikileaks published former Clinton campaign chair John Podesta’s emails.
Things have gotten so bad for the Clinton Foundation that the Clinton Global Initiative, which opened in 2005, will officially close days before the luncheon on April 15th.
While Chelsea is an accomplished academic, completing her bachelor’s at Stanford, earning a master’s from Oxford, and a Ph.D. from Columbia, her work in the humanitarian field is less than impressive.
If anything, this raises further suspicions that the media simply won’t let go of Hillary’s stunning November loss to Donald Trump. Their efforts of pushing Chelsea into the spotlight with positive press are rife with desperation as it may give her enough confidence to announce a political run, whichever office that may be.
The media’s redemption from the 2016 election is being directed at Bill & Hillary’s only child. She’s becoming the hero that liberals deserve, but not the one they need.
