It’s odd when the writers and cast of Saturday Night Live take a swipe at liberals for their hatred of President Trump. However, they hit it out of the park through a cute pug.
In this past weekend’s episode of SNL, guest host Scarlett Johansson along with a team of two other cast members use Johansson’s pug, Max, to test new technology that would translate a dog’s thoughts into words.
It started off well for Johansson and her team, then took a hilarious turn.
“Hi, I’m Max,” the pug says. “I like park and leash. And I like Trump. He’s my man.”
The team couldn’t believe what they were hearing: Johansson’s dog is a Trump supporter.
“What did your dog just say?” a shocked Cecily Strong asks Johansson.
“It must be a translation error. Some kind of glitch,” Johansson responds.
“There’s no glitch. Donald Trump is our president,” Max says. “He carried the Electoral College fair and square.”
As Johansson tries to convince Max that he doesn’t know what he’s saying and that he’s “just a dog,” Max becomes infuriated.
“It’s that condescending attitude that made people want to vote for Trump in the first place,” Max says. “You just assume that because I’m a Trump supporter that I’m a xenophobic racist.”
When Strong pulls out her gun intending to shoot the pug, Max berates the entire room of anti-Trumpers and calls them “liberal snowflakes.”
