Climate change activists have gone on the offensive now that Scott Pruitt in manning the helm of the EPA. At CPAC last week, Pruitt vowed to slash regulations that many activists see as integral to combatting climate change.
Following the release of a video featuring Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) and Bill Nye, Fox News host Tucker Carlson invited the Science Guy to explain his comments about climate deniers suffer from “cognitive dissonance.”
“The evidence for climate change is overwhelming, so we’re looking for an explanation for why you guys are having so much trouble with it,” Nye told Carlson.
Carlson retorted. “I think most people are open to the idea that climate is changing.”
The debate wasn’t so much for the denial over whether climate change exists, but how people like Nye are condescending in their demeanor and attempt to shut down debate over climate change.
Nye noted that climate change is happening at a “catastrophically fast” rate due to human activity. Tucker wouldn’t be cucked.
“So much of this you don’t know!” he shot back. “You pretend that you know, but you don’t know. And you bully people who ask you questions.”
