Melissa McCarthy returned to Saturday Night Live to play White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer in all her gum chewing glory.
Playing a frustrated Spicer, McCarthy attacked the press for not reporting terrorist attacks, quoting him accurately when he made an error, and used dolls to describe the process of ‘extreme vetting.’
Kate McKinnon briefly played Attorney General Jeff Sessions using southern colloquialisms to describe his nomination process. The only part of the skit that was out of character was when SNL went out of its way to portray Sessions as a racist — which isn’t really something to joke about.
