Crafting a joke is not an easy skill, but one essential quality is that it should be funny. Apparently, one comedian is missing that key element.

Stephen Spinola loves mocking 10-year old Barron Trump. Clearly, making fun of the first son shows his edge.

In a tweet, Spinola wrote that he hopes Barron rapes his mother because he figures he has a small penis and he’d be able to win a lot of money in a lawsuit.

Textually, it does have a setup and a punchline — but, it just’s not funny. Spinola deleted the tweet along with another one he made about Barron.

That didn’t stop Trump supporters from slamming Spinola, and he was upset that he’d been the target of online bullying and threats.

UPDATE:

Business Insider reported that Spinola was not an actual employee of Comedy Central and only listed himself as such because some of his work had been featured on the network. Furthermore he said the tweets were a gag that got taken way out of hand and he did not mean to hurt Barron’s feelings.
