WaPo admits ‘conservatives are better looking’: Top 5 ugliest liberal… ideas

The liberal media is finally admitting what it has refused to acknowledge for years: conservatives are better looking than liberals. Duh. The Washington Post even said, “Conservatives really are better looking, research says,” citing a study from the Journal of Public Economics confirming that generally when voters assume good-looking politicians on television are ideologically conservative, they are correct.

At Red Alert Politics, we don’t like to be smug or focus on physical appearances over actions… so we won’t. Instead, our editorial team compared the ideologies of liberals and conservatives because those are what really matter to us.

Here are the ideas we think are truly ugly:

Blaming 9/11 on Bush

In a rant on The View that went viral for its idiotic point and utter fallacy, television personality Rosie O’Donnell dismissed the ‘war on terror’ as ‘propaganda.’ She then blamed the 2001 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center on the Bush administration, which she deems less trustworthy than our enemies abroad.

“I do believe it is the first time in history that fire has ever melted steel,” O’Donnell said about that fateful September day. “I do believe that it defies physics for the World Trade Center Tower Seven, building seven, which collapsed in on itself, it is impossible for a building to fall the way it fell without explosives being involved.”

O’Donnell recently confirmed she still believed in her 9/11 conspiracy theory.

Sexually molesting your 6-year-old sister and bragging about it in your memoir

In her collection of personal essays called Not That Kind of Girl, actress Lena Dunham says she experimented sexually with her younger sister Grace’s vagina and tried persuading her sister to kiss her the way “a sexual predator might do.”

“Grace was sitting up, babbling and smiling, and I leaned down between her legs and carefully spread open her vagina. She didn’t resist and when I saw what was inside I shrieked,” she wrote, a few lines down bragging, “My mother didn’t bother asking why I had opened Grace’s vagina. This was within the spectrum of things I did.”

Supporting government confiscation of guns

In a parody sketch for Comedy Central, comedian Amy Schumer mocked pro-Second Amendment Americans for being ‘obsessed’ with guns.

“Caller, you bite your tongue, you silly goose!” Schumer’s character says. “You can absolutely get a gun if you have several felonies, as long as you buy it on the Internet or at a gun show.”

In her video, Schumer’s character falsely indicates it is legal to pick up a gun from a gun show despite having “several felonies.” However, in real life, she has campaigned for increased government gun laws as a solution for people who break the law anyway.

Claiming you can’t be a good Christian if you’re not a socialist

In his introduction to the screening of his anti-capitalist film Capitalism: A Love Story in Silver Spring, Maryland, leftist filmmaker Michael Moore claimed religious Americans cannot be truly faithful without being socialists.

“Socialism… is Christianity and Judaism and Islam and Buddhism,” Moore said. “All the great religions say essentially the same thing that Marx said.”

After bashing the wealthy as a demographic that should be suppressed by the rest of the population, Moore justified his statement with the claim, “that’s what Jesus said.”

Rigging the elections in favor of your party’s candidate

Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman-Schultz resigned from her position last summer after Wikileaks revealed she had a hand in rigging the 2016 presidential election in favor of her party’s candidate, Hillary Clinton, over Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders.

“The DNC did something incredibly inappropriate here [under Schultz’s leadership],” former DNC chairman Edward G. Rendell said.

See, we’re not calling anyone ‘ugly.’ Maybe just ugly-minded.
