Cuban Dictator Fidel Castro may have professed to being a Communist — but he lived more like a king.

His estimated net worth was approximately $900 million according to Forbes Magazine, though he claimed that he made just $43 a month and lived a fisherman’s hut. In reality, Castro had more than 20 luxurious properties, including a small island off the coast of Cuba.

While Cubans starved with food rations, Castro’s estate grew a bounty of grapefruit, bananas, oranges, lemons, and mandarins. According to the NY Post, each member of his family also had their own cow.

Castr0’s story is not an unusual one for left-wing leaders who say one thing and do another.

China’s Xi Jinping’s family has a net worth of hundreds of millions of dollars despite living in a Communist country. Hugo Chavez was no different; the Venezuelan dictator was worth about $4.2 billion according to The Latin Post.

Even America’s own socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) owns three homes, despite that fact that he makes a living by bashing the wealthy and privileged.

It just shows that the left intends to make the world equal by making it poorer — except, of course, for themselves.
