Want to build the perfect haunted house display for Halloween that will frighten trick-or-treaters to their very core? Build the wall!
According to We-ha.com, Matt Warshauer of West Hartford, Connecticut, built an “8-foot-high, barb-wire covered, gated and soldier-guarded wall” along the front yard of his home inspired by Donald Trump’s proposed southern border wall.
It’s beautiful, but, most importantly, it’s YUUUGE!
Warshauer, who’s a history professor at Central Connecticut State University and known for his not-so-subtle haunted house displays, told We-ha.com that he can’t remember an election being this bad.
“It’s a presidential election year – but it’s also that this is an insane year,” Warshauer said, noting that once he found out that Trump would be the nominee he had to include his wall in his Halloween display.
He continued, “Trump represents nationalism and fascism, and when you combine those things it’s very dangerous. What does ‘Make America great again’ really mean?”
Despite the obvious dig on Trump, Warshauer admitted that he’s not so hot on Hillary Clinton either, saying, ““She acts like [the presidency] is owed to her, like it’s her turn. I don’t think anyone should behave that way.”
While the border wall is lined with anthropomorphized skeletons, Hillary is spotted in a patriotic gown riding the Democratic donkey:
Meanwhile, the Republican nominee can be seen at the top of Trump tower (note the size of his hands):
And, Bernie Sanders is locked inside “DNC Jail”:
Donald Trump has not yet commented on the display, but I’m sure he’d call it “deplorable”.
