Donald Trump’s problems with millennials may be coming to an end. The Republican nominee is now nearly within single digits of Hillary Clinton among young voters.

According to a Pew Research poll released on Thursday, Trump captures 27 percent of millennial voters, just 11 points behind Clinton. Libertarian Gary Johnson captures 19 percent and Jill Stein of the Green Party has 9 percent.

Millennials are dissatisfied with Clinton’s pro-war policies and history of flip-flopping on issues, which has put the Democrats in a tough position.

Either they acknowledge the third-party candidates who are taking a large percentage of Democratic voters, or they ignore Jill Stein and Gary Johnson and allow them to continue to chip away support.

Trump is closing the gap with millennial voters. Mitt Romney lost Gen Y by 23 points, John McCain lost them by 34 percent, and now the Republican nominee is only down by 11 percent.

This isn’t the first poll to notice these trends. Voter Labs and Morning Consult have also shown Trump within single digits of Clinton among millennial voters.

Clinton will have a tough time winning in November if millennials choose to abandon her like these polls suggest.
