A top Democratic donor recently referred to Scott Walker as a “total dumb s–t,” and said that his lack of college degree means he isn’t intelligent enough to be president of the United States.
In an interview with the Daily Beast, the powerful and notoriously foul-mouthed trial lawyer John Morgan discussed an upcoming meeting with Hillary Clinton, as well as his thoughts on some of the Republican presidential hopefuls.
“Walker would be the first president with a GED,” Morgan told the Daily Beast. “We just cannot have a dumb s–t as president. Total dumb s–t.”
Morgan is one of Florida’s most influential Democratic donors. Morgan has met with the Clintons and the Obamas on multiple occasions, and potential Democratic candidates in Florida consistently line up to win his approval. Morgan’s wife, a Republican, is considering fundraising for former Governor Jeb Bush.
Walker, on the other hand, won’t be getting an invite to meet with the multimillionaire.
Democrats have latched on to the fact that Walker doesn’t hold an actual degree, although some would say his real-world policy experience as a state legislator, county executive and governor are sufficient to qualify him for the presidency.
Walker attended Marquette University in Milwaukee from 1986-1990, but left in the spring of his fourth year to take a job at the American Red Cross and also to pursue a political career, launching his first campaign for the Wisconsin state legislature.
