2 Chainz and Nancy Grace are at it again! After their epic showdown over marijuana legalization (in which 2 Chainz became a small government hero) Grace is now chastising the rapper’s antics on his GQ web series, “Most Expensivest S—-.”
As you might have already gathered from the title, this is a series in which 2 Chainz, a lover of the finer things in life, tries the “most expensivest” of everything, including a $5,000 toothbrush.
For the marijuana edition, he obviously brought out the big guns: hand-made 24-karat gold rolling papers, which leave behind gold ash, containing the “world’s most expensive cannabis.” The weed costs about $800 an ounce, and came courtesy of his “medical-cannabis consultant” Dr. Dina, who believes the character Nancy Botwin from “Weeds” is based on her.
This, 2 Chainz declares, is the “caviar of joints.”
Rolling Stone sought comment from Grace on all this—she was, as you might expect, not pleased.
“$800 for an ounce of Loud? Really? That alone should be a felony — the 24-carat gold paper is definitely an aggravating circumstance!” she said. “The caviar of joints? For someone as smart and educated as 2 Chainz, this video is even more ironic. 2 Chainz won’t allow his children to have caffeine: not even a soda. (P.S., I don’t either.) Wait until his children spot this video on the Internet. Explain that, Daddy!”
In 2 Chainz’s defense, he wrapped up all his extravagance with a very motivating message. “With hard work and dedication you could be right here one day.”
