Jimmy Kimmel managed to turn innocent phrases into profane ones on his show Thursday night with another edition of “This Week in Unnecessary Censorship.”
“It’s time for our weekly tribute to the FCC where we bleep and blur things whether they need it or not,” Kimmel told his audience before airing the segment of news anchors, game show hosts, sports commentators, weathermen and even cartoon characters uttering “inappropriate” things.
This time around, Kimmel put words in the mouths of “ABC World News” host Diane Sawyer, “Family Feud” host Steve Harvey, co-host of “LIVE with Kelly & Michael” Michael Strahan and a character on the children’s television show “LazyTown.”
Are they uttering dangerous four-letter words or keeping their language clean? You be the judge.
