Pelosi on 2016: Biden and Clinton are “riches;” Rep. Peter King, “was he serious?”

Nancy PelosiNever one to mince words, Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) had some colorful thoughts to offer on the future Republican and Democratic presidential nominees in 2016.

A reporter attending the House Minority Leader’s weekly briefing Friday asked the congresswoman what her thoughts on the 2016 presidential race were. Though Pelosi said the election was years away, she did have something to say about the potential candidates.

“They’re both wonderful. Aren’t we blessed with such a great supply of riches?” Pelosi told the room full of reporters of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Vice President Joe Biden.

Both names have been floated for future Democratic presidential nominees in 2016.

The reporter then asked Pelosi who she thought would be the strongest Republican contender and asked for her take on Rep. Peter King’s (R-N.Y.) consideration of a White House run.

“Was he serious?” Pelosi asked.

Check out the video on CSPAN. Pelosi’s comments begin at the 16:50-minute mark.
