#Hernandezing: Arrested former NFL player sparks new Twitter trend

Aaron Hernandez murder New England PatriotsForget “Tebowing” and “Kaepernicking”– now the latest viral trend on Twitter based off a professional football player is “Hernandezing.”

Following the arrest of former New England Patriots player Aaron Hernandez’s for the murder of 27-year-old semi-pro player Odin Lloyd, scores of people have taken to Twitter to mock the professional athlete’s arrest photo.

Hernandez’s arms are tucked inside his shirt in his arrest photo because he was shirtless when police arrested him Wednesday morning. The cops allowed him to put a shirt over his head, however they did not remove the cuffs – resulting in the awkward pose.

People are also mimicking on Twitter a photo of Hernandez taken four years ago, where the then-University of Florida star posed in front of a mirror holding up a hand gun. While it is unknown if the gun in the photo was loaded, it does have a magazine inserted in it.
