Nothing says “Happy Valentine’s Day” like mocking the liberals that are currently making big news.
In the spirit of a partisan Valentine’s Day, kind-hearted Republicans can send their friends and family – or political foe – an e-card with a picture of an outspoken Democrat complete with a sarcastic phrase about their current political soapbox.
“Spare No Expense This Valentine’s Day, We Don’t Have A Spending Problem,” reads Nancy Pelosi’s card, referencing her recent statements about the national debt.
President Barack Obama has a few cards poking fun at shutting down his jobs council and how indebted the United States is to China.
“I Told My Jobs Council ‘Let’s Just Be Friends’ This Valentine’s Day,” one card reads.
“I Asked China To Buy You This Valentine,” reads another.
Vice-President Joe Biden is still proud that he’s the president. Virginia Del. Robert G. Marshall (R-VA) wants your loved one to have a chocolate trillion dollar coin, since Cupid can’t send a platinum one.
Cards from Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV), California Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-CA), likely next Defense Secretary and former Senator from Nebraska Chuck Hagel (R-NE) and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, among other recent newsworthy members on the left side of the aisle, are available.
Hopefully, your loved one will enjoy the humor, even if you get them nothing else this Valentine’s Day.
