Obama just got trolled! #obamaquester

Republican leaders have resorted to trolling President Barack Obama on Twitter and Facebook to get him to take responsibility for the tough spot the  country is currently in financially.

GOP House leaders changed their Facebook profile pictures and cover photos and Twitter avatars and headers on Friday to the following quote from Bob Woodward’s lastest book, “The Price of Politics:”

This is probably what Obama looks like as he’s reading his Twitter feed today.

And this is probably what Obama looks like after he discovers he’s being trolled.

The Republican plot to troll the President is in response to a fact sheet released by the White House detailing the negative impact the sequester could have on the economy. Republicans just want to jog Obama’s memory that the sequester was his idea in the first place.

“President Obama created the sequester, and he is entirely responsible for the devastating consequences for America’s economy and national security if it goes into effect,” Michael Steel, a spokesman for Speaker of the House John Boehner (R-Ohio) reportedly said. “The House has passed legislation – twice – to replace these cuts with other common-sense cuts and reforms. We all agree that President Obama’s sequester is bad – but what is President Obama going to do about it?”

When the Republicans leaders united on social media, a new hashtag was born: #obamaquester.
