Joe Biden to GOP Young Guns: The bullets are aimed at you

Vice President Joe Biden stuck his foot in his mouth again this afternoon at a campaign event at the Culinary of Academy of Las Vegas Events Center.

Speaking about Rep.Paul Ryan and his successful “Young Guns” program to recruit more young people to run for Congress, Biden informed the Republican Vice Presidential candidate that “the bullets are aimed at you.”

“I don’t understand how they believe, and they do believe: Ryan has written a book called The Young Guns with two other fellows, members of the House,” Biden said. “No, these are the Republican leaders in the House … Unfortunately, the bullets are aimed at you.”

Obviously, Biden wasn’t threatening violence against Ryan or any other members of his Young Guns coalition.

However, during the Vice Presidential debate last week, Biden claimed, “I always say what I mean,” after being teased by Ryan for his numerous gaffes.

Perhaps this would be a good time for Biden to bite the bullet and admit that he doesn’t always say exactly what he means (pun intended).
