MSNBC commentator Chris Matthews completely broke down after Wednesday’s debate, mostly because Romney was winning.
And everyone knows that if MSNBC says that their hero, Barack Obama, actually lost the debate, there is no one that will contest it.
“I don’t know what he [Obama]was doing out there,” said Matthews. “He had his head down, he was enduring the debate rather than fighting it.”
His comment, which was mostly screaming and flying hair, was mainly directed at Barack Obama, wondering why the current President was not prepared and failed entirely to put Romney on the defensive at any point during the debate.
Romney, according to Matthews, came in with a plan, he stared Obama down, “like he was prey” and came out there prepared and armed to smoothly win the debate.
“He did it just right,” Matthews said. “I’m coming at an incumbent. I got to beat him. You’ve got to beat the champ and I’m going to beat him tonight. And I don’t care what this guy, the moderator, whatever he thinks he is because I’m going to ignore him.”
MSNBC host Rachel Maddow’s only conclusion was that maybe someone told Obama not to attack Romney at all.
Matthews concluded Obama needs to start watching MSNBC in order to get the facts straight and learn how rebut Romney’s arguments.
Maybe Matthews can start sending him text messages during the debate so that Obama can figure out how to put together some full sentences about why anyone should vote for him in November.
