[Video] U didn’t build that (Obamatime)

The creator of the hilarious “Will the Real Mitt Romney Please Stand Up?” video is out with a sequel video, but this time it hits the Commander in Chief  himself for his “you didn’t build that” gaffe in a parody of the 1990 hit “U Can’t Touch This.”

“You didn’t build that,” Obama says during the chorus in “can’t touch this” style repetition. During the section of the song in which MC Hammer calls out “Hammertime,” Obama is edited to say “Obamatime.”

The most memorable line of the video, though, is when “MC ‘Bama” Obama asks, “Do you smell what Barack is cooking?”

Famous actors Hulk Hogan and Clint Eastwood also make appearances in the creatively edited video in footage from the Republican National Convention, as does talk show host Ellen DeGeneres.

Video editing genius Hugh Atkins couldn’t have had better timing with the release of the humorous video. Though he takes most of Obama’s other statements out of context, Obama’s infamous “you didn’t build that line” is left intact and is the focal point of the video. “You didn’t build that” is definitely not a phrase the Obama campaign wants to see in headlines again, now or ever.
