[Video] Young Democrat tries to claim Biden understands young people better than Paul Ryan

In a debate with College Republican National Committee Chair Alex Schriver on the Kudlow Report on CNBC Wednesday Young Democrats of America Executive Vice President Colmon Eldridge tried to make the case that even though Vice President Joe Biden, 69, isn’t as close in age to young Americans as Paul Ryan, 42, Biden understands young people better than Ryan does.

I have little hard evidence to support this theory, but I’m going to go out on a limb and say Biden probably doesn’t resonate with young people as much as Paul Ryan, who is one of the founders of the GOP Young Guns program that recruits and supports young, Republican candidates. Furthermore, based on the butt-whooping the Paul Ryan VP social media accounts are giving the Biden accounts less than one week after Ryan was declared Republican president nominee Mitt Romney’s running mate, I’d say young people are literally more connected to Ryan than they are Biden.
