RNC Launches Platform Website For Young Activists

The Republican National Committee has released its platform website, a site designed to give young people who aren’t necessarily delegates to the RNC, a voice in the direction of the Republican Party.

According to an RNC press release, the Platform Committee Website “will serve as a place for Republicans across the country to share their ideas with us about the issues and values they want included in our party’s platform.”

A quote from RNC Chairman Reince Priebus was also included in the press release in which he stated: “President Obama’s big government agenda is bankrupting our country, destroying our economy, and hurting the middle class.”

Priebus continues, stating that he is “grateful for Governor Bob McDonnell of Virginia, Senator John Hoeven of North Dakota, and Representative Marsha Blackburn of Tennessee who will be leading this process. I look forward to working with them and all our activists as we write our platform and send Governor Mitt Romney to the White House.”

Young Republicans who want to voice their ideas about the Republican Party’s platform are encouraged to visit the platform website, www.GOPPlatform2012.com. Individuals can also follow the Platform Committee on Twitter @gopplatform2012.

There is very little if anyntihg I could add to this letter because it is spot on. It states the sentiments of many conservatives to a tee (pun intended). I would also point out to the RNC the manner in which the Virginia Republican establishment has handled and is handling the elimination of all candidates (but 2) in the Commonwealth’s upcoming primary. Then adding insult to injury not allowing write-in votes. The VA RNC has found favor with the current Gov.; Lt. Gov. and AG in supporting their rulings and to make matters worst at least two out of the three have publicly endorsed Mitt Romney and the other official has publicly taken shots at one of the candidates so eliminated. I have supported the RNC and Va. Republicans since 1962 (50 years) today I am no longer a Republican in any shape; form or fashion. Just to be clear I will not vote for a moderate/liberal from MASS regardless what the Republican establishment may say or do now tell me you (RNC) have not stepped in it!
