Brad Pitt’s mother, Jane Pitt, has endured an onslaught of angry Tweets threatening her life ever since she penned an anti-Obama letter to a local Missouri newspaper, the Springfield News-Leader.
Tweets have included those such as: “Brad Pitt’s mom, die” from Twitter-poster Sandy Kownacka, and a Tweet from “I Bleed Gaga” echoing similar sentiments, saying, “Brad Pitt’s mom wrote an anti-gay pro-Romney editorial. Kill the b—.”
Still other Tweets condemn the actor’s mother for her letter stating: “Brad Pitt’s mom, die” and “F— you, brad pitt’s mom, the gay community made your kid a star, you whacko.”
And some even told her to commit vulgar sex acts with the commenter.
After speaking to Jane Pitt about the media attacks, WND noted “inflections in her voice that conveyed fear and despair” and described her tone as “a subdued manner laden with heaviness of heart.”

In contrast to the angry Tweets, Brad Pitt spoke kindly of his mother’s loving spirit in January to the Hollywood Reporter: “She’s very, very loving—very open, genuine, and it’s hilarious because she always gets painted in the tabloids as a she-devil.”
