ADF video: Obamacare contains hidden abortion mandate

The Alliance Defense Fund warns in a new video that abortion providers such as Planned Parenthood stand to pocket just under $1 billion from Obamacare paycheck deductions.

ADF calculates that this could fund as many as 2 million abortions annually on top of the current 1.2 million number based on statistics from the Allen Gutmacher Institute.

The civil-liberties group says Democrats worked in conjunction with Planned Parenthood to hide an abortion mandate in the over 2,000-page law. The law requires everyone who participates in state health care exchanges to provide a separate paycheck deduction to cover all forms of abortion.

According to the video, a $1 deduction will be taken from each paycheck to cover the cost into a fund to cover abortions, and the nearly $1 billion figure is arrived at by calculating the total number of Americans in the workforce.

The law imposes a gag order on insurance companies to keep them from disclosing which plans cover abortion in advance to employers, and those wanting abortion services will need to read the fine print to find out if they are covered.

Thank God for prayers anweresd, and for the grace He gave to Abbey to see the light. Let’s pray it will be a saving influence on the young women who are tempted to abort. Well done to the people in 40 Days for Life at Bryan. Changing one heart at a time is what it’s about. In this case you changed a very important one. Thank God for the fair and objective coverage which the TV station KBTX gave to this event. Hearts must have been changed in the local media too. And PP are going to court. That means there will be more chances to give a very public witness to the sacredness of life and to present the prolife message in a good light. I will certainly pray here in California for the 40 Day people at Bryan in the coming months. Keep up God’s good work!
