[VIDEO] RNC Calls Out Obama on College Costs

The Republican National Committee (RNC) has released a new web video reminding voters that the price of college has continued to skyrocket since President Barack Obama took office despite his repeated promises to reduce costs.

Similar to the video it released on Debt and Deficits last week, the video shows clips from 2008 of candidate Obama making the same promises that candidate Obama continues to make in 2012 as an incumbent President three years into his term.

“We have to make sure that every young person can afford to go to a public college or university if they’ve got the will, if they’ve got the grades,” candidate Obama is seen saying in 2008 as a tuition increase clock runs next to him.

The video is the RNC’s reminder to students that although the Obama administration has talked the talk on reducing college costs, it has not made it a priority to address the issue with legislation.

The video is also the GOP’s attempt to put a damper on Vice President Joe Biden’s speech at Keene State College in New Hampshire this afternoon.
