G.O.P. ‘Super PAC’ Weighs Hard-Line Attack on Obama

WASHINGTON — A group of high-profile Republican strategists is working with a conservative billionaire on a proposal to mount one of the most provocative campaigns of the “super PAC” era and attack President Obama in ways that Republicans have so far shied away from.

Timed to upend the Democratic National Convention in September, the plan would “do exactly what John McCain would not let us do,” the strategists wrote.

    They may be “high profile” strategist’s but they are dead wrong on this. Nothing will be gained by bringing Wright into this campaign, this might appeal to the Tea Party crowd but average independent voters are tired of the fighting, just ask them. Dont keep talking to the twitter crowd, the people already on this side, find the most non political people you can, ask them what matters, what they want to see & hear. I think Team Romney & some on in the GOP are still in Primary Mode we need to pivot to the General and target independents – people that are hurting and what Rev Wright has done or says will not change most peoples lives.
