Rubio: There is no such thing as ‘a hispanic vote’

Rubio told Fox News Sunday that Romney is not going to lose hispanics because there is no way to qualify the “hispanic vote.”

“My cousin is the democratic leader of the state senate in nevada,” he said. “We have the same family and shared experience. Some of it depends on where you grew up and the politics of the place you live in.”

For example, he said that Cuban Americans in New Jersey tend to vote differently than Cuban Americans in Miami.

He also said that Romney has a strong chance of even winning hispanics in Florida because Obama’s economic policies negatively affect hispanics just as much as the rest of the country.
