Is President Obama trying too hard to be “Cool?”

American Crossroads released a new video today mocking President Obama’s celebrity-like presidency, called ”Cool,” and features Obama dancing on the Ellen Degeneres show, calling Kanye West a “jackass,” and his recent appearance Late Night Jimmy Fallon.

The video portrays The President as trying too hard to be “cool,” in an attempt to win over the young adult vote instead of focusing on the real issues affecting young people.

With one in two recent graduates unemployed or underemployed, and the fact that 85 percent of young adults have had to move back in with their parents, the President seems to be taking the “cool uncle” approach to winning over young Americans rather than the “tough parent.”
