Girls gone wild…on Capitol Hill

If law school doesn’t work out for Sandra Fluke, we may have found another way for her to get back on Capitol Hill.

Girls Gone Wild founder Joe Francis announced today that the winner of his #1 rated HDNet reality show, “The Search for the Hottest Girl in America,” will win an internship on Capitol Hill.

Francis plans to use a four-week internship in Washington, DC with Senator Mark Pryor (D-Ark.) he won at an LA auction as a prize on the TV show. For context, Pryor was the Democratic Senator who voted against Obama’s Buffet Rule.

Unsurprisingly, the Washington Post reports that the Arkansas Senator’s office denied the claim, saying “they don’t sell or auction internships” and called the announcement a “hoax.”

Brace yourself for Joe Franics’ motives for purchasing the internship.

” Women’s issues and rights have been completely assaulted by Republican candidates during this year’s Republican primaries,” he said. “There was no better way to empower women than to send the winner of Girls Gone Wild’s ‘Search for the Hottest Girl in America’ contest to Washington DC.”

Yes, there is no better way to empower women than by objectifying their bodies, Joe Franic. A competition that judged women based on their intelligence would be soooooo disgraceful!

The reality television show, which is a spin off Girls Gone Wild, airs Thursday nights at 10 pm on HDNet.
