If the Supreme Court strikes down the individual mandate (which looks to be the case) or the entire law, President Barack Obama will have been one of the most unaccomplished presidents in U.S. history. Whether he wins reelection or not remains to be seen, but especially if Republicans take a majority in the U.S. Senate, an Obama second term will be a lame duck.
Here at Red Alert Politics we were able to run a truly unscientific and not credible study on the least accomplished presidents. Let’s take a look at President Obama’s competition.
William Henry Harrison – In 1841 as the ninth President of the United States, Harrison died of pneumonia 32 days in office.
James Garfield -Four months into his term, President Garfield was shot on July 2, 1881. Though his tenure was short, he was able to initiate the reform of a very corrupt U.S. Postal Service. His call for civil service reform was fulfilled by the Pendleton Civil Service Reform Act which was signed into law by his Vice President-turned-presidential-successor, Chester A. Arthur.
Jimmy Carter – Iranian hostage situation; stagflation; malaise. Need I say more?
Has President Obama accomplished anything? Well, under an Obama presidency, the United States has accrued more debt ($4.939 trillion) in three years than President George W. Bush’s eight ($4.899 trillion).
Whether he knew about it or not, President Obama holds responsibility for Fast and Furious, which led to the deaths of multiple border patrol agents and who knows how many Mexican citizens. He appointed Eric Holder as his Attorney General and has shown little passion in finding and holding accountable those who were responsible.
President Obama’s failed stimulus policies have led to a stagnant “recovery” and the reemergence of loud, smelly hippies via Occupy Wall St. (a.k.a Obamavilles). This alone is unforgivable.
He has also greatly weakened the United States image in the world, while alienating our few close allies. There is nothing that says “don’t mess with us” like bowing to a Saudi King or extends friendship to Israel like telling the French President Nicolas Sarkozy what a pain he thinks Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu can be.
Let us not forget the take down of Osama Bin Laden, the one event in President Obama’s tenure where he could have credibly attributed credit to the previous administration’s actions.
I’m sure there will be more to come that will impress depress us, but already it seems likely that Barack Obama will have entered office as an unaccomplished one-term Senator, and exited an unaccomplished (one term?) President of the United States.

There are active and retired military officers, lawyers, teachers, and everyone else who has been a victim of “designed to fail” mortgages, and other corporate strangleholds caused by the corporate influence on our politicians. He has accomplished exactly what his utopian masters assigned him: the destruction of America. The tipping point has been reached. Regardless of the outcome of the Obamacare debate, regardless even of the outcome of the November elections, he has presided over the setting in motion of the destruction of the United States.

Bush let 9/11 happen and should be killed for war crimes (he should have been put on death row). I’m continuously awe struck at the amount of individuals who live in the UNITED STATES who have the kind one sided view like the person who wrote this article. No one cared to mention the ginormous amount of POOP President Obama stepped into when he took office. These people make it seem as if he took office and SUDDENLY the world came crashing down! WOW. Please consider a few things:
A person, especially a President, can NEVER please EVERYONE with the decisions he/she has to make. Many of you, even if you were privy to the info he has, CANNOT wrap your puny little minds around the decisions someone like him have to make on a daily basis. Therefore, there will ALWAYS be decisions that will NOT please everyone; however, a judgment will still need to be made; and he has made some VERY tough calls in his current term. Does that make him a bad person? Do you guys even KNOW how many people currently reside in the United States? Not even a single HOUSEHOLD can make decisions to suit each family member which consists of somewhere between 2-5 people on average and you expect this man to make decisions that will please almost 312 BILLION people?? WOW. I hope none of you are homeschooling.
Moving on…Have any of you actually done research on Bush and his Administration? Let’s clarify something here, I am NOT a Democrat nor do I wish to be affiliated with ANY political party. My concern during every election is to sought out the BEST person for the job. At the lack of sounding repetitive, please refer to Roy’s comments above.
