Were Young Professionals Really that Unprofessional at CPAC?

Yesterday, a rash of blog posts calling out young conservative attendees at Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) for behaving and dressing inappropriately during the conference popped up and dominated the news day on the twittosphere. Conservatives seemed to be divided on the issue, and over the question of whether this really was an issue.
Chuck Woolery and CPAC are not names typically associated together. Woolery is better known for his trademark catchphrase “We’re back in two and two” than as a political pundit. But in the last six months his website SaveUsChuckWoolery has made him into a movement hero. He, along with lawyer-writer Ben Shapiro and filmmaker Steve Bannon (who was behind the Sarah Palin film, The Undefeated), spoke at CPAC during a panel entitled “Does Hollywood Still Embrace American Exceptionalism?”

Herman Cain’s Not Stupid, He’s Ignorant

It’s not that I don’t like Herman Cain. He seems like a nice guy who really does want to change America for the better.

But he had his opportunity to address the nation, and he squandered it by not appropriately reacting to allegations of sexual misconduct. Whether or not Cain is guilty of the charges is irrelevant – he and his campaign mishandled the situation so badly that conservatives lost faith in the idea of his ever becoming the Republican nominee.

After dropping out of the race, Cain appeared with Stephen Colbert at a rally on the campus of Charleston College the day before the South Carolina primary. He urged students to vote for Herman Cain in the primary in order to vote Stephen Colbert. (Cain couldn’t get off the ballot; Colbert couldn’t get on.) It seemed obvious that Cain’s 15 minutes were dragging on well beyond their entertainment value.

The Occupy Movement: An Interview with Brandon Darby

Brandon Darby is a former liberal turned conservative activist and close associate of Andrew Breitbart. In fact, Breitbart recently said that he believes Darby will be this generations David Horowitz. He is also widely known for informing the FBI of liberal activists’ plans to bomb the 2008 Republican National Convention.

In this interview Darby answers questions regarding the origins of the Occupy movement, what their next steps will be and what he hopes to see come from the upcoming Citizens United documentary Occupy Unmasked that he, Andrew Breitbart and Lee Stranahan collaborated on.

Occupy Unmasked Preview

On Thursday, February 9 at CPAC, Citizens United sponsored the preview of a new movie called Occupy Unmasked produced by David Bossie and directed by Stephan Bannon (director of The Undefeated).

Conservative lightning rod Andrew Breitbart along with Brandon Darby and Lee Stranahan partnered with them to dig into the Occupy Wall Street movement to find out exactly what was driving it.

Howdy! Do you know if they make any plugins to assist with Search Engine Optimization? I’m trying to get my blog to rank for some targeted keywords but I’m not seeing very good success. If you know of any please share. Thank you!
