Check In System Crashes, Causes Long Lines

If you thought the wait to get into CPAC was longer than usual this year, you’re not crazy. Long registration lines are not unusual at CPAC, but waits today have been longer than usual, disgruntling many attendees. Gregg Keller, the Executive Director of the American Conservative Union (ACU) took the main stage earlier this afternoon to announce that one of CPAC’s vendors’ systems was down, which is what caused the problem.

“From the bottom of my heart I apologize, and we value you very very much here,” Keller told the audience.

The audience responded with a round of applause. All’s well that ends well.

Excellent blog! Do you have any hints for aspiring writers? I’m planning to start my own website soon but I’m a little lost on everything. Would you propose starting with a free platform like WordPress or go for a paid option? There are so many choices out there that I’m totally overwhelmed .. Any recommendations? Thanks a lot!
